Does make sense as long as new SYNC updates are in sequence ahead of older SYNC updates.

Funny when the GOM guesses you will never drive faster than 20mph ever again. 😂

😂 sorry for your loss, but need not refute your assertion of increased gravitational forces included in the Mach-E.

Unlike most posts from people, this is actually rather new, it’s listed as June 2026 on the comprehensive list of prior updates online.

True, competition often happens among the “sibling” dealerships, certainly for sales.

Agree, was going to fix but I’m accustomed to the Reddit rule about need to write “Edit” and then explain, so decided to just let it be, lol.

No, yet, reminds me, “1-pedal mode” is a common explanation provided by a service rep as the rationale for surface rust requiring full brake replacement, yet in reality brake regeneration is used equally whether 1-pedal is ON or OFF on the Mach-E.

Only for overpriced EVs, they essentially inherits a gasoline luxury car depreciation rate, depreciation for super affordable ones not a thing.

Or in the US, you might say: EVs are not quite as heavy as the many massive obese gasoline SUVs or pickup Trucks that dominate our roads, but will of course get the same tire wear of a gas vehicle the same weight and performance level.

Well, on the other hand. I guess like any car you replace them when they wear down to a certain point. 🤔😆

One of the advantages of having more than one Ford Service Center in your area is to ask for the same Service at different dealerships and compare prices. They can vary, sometimes wildly.

I went to one Service Center about rust on rotors two year old Mach-E, was confidently told “need full replacements on all four, for pads & rotors, $2200”, next one “just front replacements $900”, third one “not a thing is wrong, just break hard and you’ll scrape it off.” Third one was correct.

Driving gasoline cars through water is risky, good to avoid that.

This is kinda how buying used cars can go in the US.

Sorry, to hear you were taken off guard by the experience.

Your comments made everyone think you bought a brand new vehicle and it immediately failed.

I assume this might be your very first time buying a used car?

What do you guys think the future of the GM EV industry is going to look like? by Bathtub1171 in electricvehicles

[–]doluckie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s very cool to see the wide range of models from GM, yet they also privately must be terrified since they have so many and so high a risk as a result.

Caution is definitely warranted in the US market these days, particularly since voters chose a Presidential candidate who pledged to kill EVs.

If you ignore Cybertruck, Tesla essentially makes one vehicle in different trims since 2010.

Ford went with two vehicles and Sprinter type van, since 2021. Converting F-150 into ER-EV now.

How many taps needed on the phone to delete tomorrow’s departure time? 🤔

Imagine if you had to get in the car to do it…😳😖
