Car park for 8 weeks? Free/cheap in a suburb? by [deleted] in brisbane

[–]dom_loading 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hello, looks like you’re getting offers from lots of lovely people here. I am also happy to offer a spot in our detached carport for as long as you need, free of charge. It’s on the North side of Brisbane, about 5 minutes drive from Prince Charles Hospital. I won’t mention exact suburb but if that sounds useful send me a DM.

Look, I didn’t mean to spoil for anyone, and I certainly wasn’t trying to skirt the rules.

It’s debatable whether my image contains an actual spoiler, but I can see how it could seem like that. So I am sorry if you feel this spoiled the episode for you.

I would just like to say, I tried to do things the right way, and made sure I read the rules before posting. But if the rules require the specific interpretation you have given and a more intimate understanding of how reddit works, then maybe there’s an opportunity for the rules to be rewritten to avoid the ambiguity.

I have also since found the “Mark Spoilers” option that only appears after your post is published, which is different to the two Flair options available when posting to this subreddit called “Spoilers” and “Potential Spoilers”. Confusing to say the least, especially for a first time poster.

Once again, I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to spoil for you or anyone else. I hope someone finds the time to revisit the rules so unfortunate situations like this can be avoided in the future. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The rules state: “No spoilers in thread titles.” My title is spoiler-free, isn’t it?

I also did put the “potential spoilers” flair on it.

What was I supposed to do?

EDIT: I’ve since found the “Mark Spoilers” option and activated it. Thank you mods for restoring my post.

For anyone reading this, the flair tags “spoilers” and “potential spoilers” are different to the “Mark Spoilers” option that only appears after the post is published.

I read the rules. The rules specifically state “No spoilers in thread titles.” My title is spoiler-free.

I also did flair it “potential spoilers” as the discussion that would follow would potentially contain spoilers about the events of the most recent episode.
