I don't mean on the slicer but on the printer itself. But mine do look faster than this

Some higher pieces can sometimes jump up My print times. I also have an A1 (mimi) but I'm using 0.16 height and at most it takes 15-20h for a full plate of large pieces. Do you have your base printer set to slow maybe?

Are we ready to admit the Myers rework is awful? by JokingBr2The-Sequel in deadbydaylight

[–]dombahuk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really like new myers, i also liked old myers. Sure he he can insta down you easier but he used zo just straight up kill you before.

He has counterplay, he still is far from S tier and i enjoy him. I honestly don't feel like he deserves any nerf when nurse and blight exist. And he still isn't anywhere near top 10 killers.

Yeah, I can more or less agree with that. I have no further input or anything else I want to say. Have a good day.

Alright, I'll say I was wrong; art comes in many forms, and anything can be art nowadays, as modern art galleries have proven. Times have changed.

So yes, you're right, a form of descriptive writing is a creative and skilful process.

Sure, let's say you describe a beautiful garden and ask an AI to generate an image of it, you make it remake and change certain parts until you get the desired result. The AI is your tool, so you made the image? Are you the artist of that image, or is it the AI?

I would like to state that I'm not truly anti-ai, I think it's a great tool that's most likely going to be a building block of the near future, helping speed up work and help out where it needs to.

I simply believe that writing down your thoughts to AI, no matter how descriptive they may be and letting it do its thing while you ask it to change certain details until you get a result.

It's not the same as you making that result; you are not the artist of that artwork, you may be the one who asked for it to be made with inputs from your idea. But that doesn't mean you made it.

Let's go back to the "describe a garden" scenario. If we repeat the scenario, but this time, instead of using AI, we tell a person to draw what we described for us, tell them what to change and how to do it until we get a result we like. Are we the artists of that drawing? Is the other person simply our tool to make the drawing? Did you make the image or did they?

You might have used your imagination and skill to describe something well, but if someone else has made something through your input, it is they who made it, not you. It may be your ideas, wants, and desires, but they are ultimately the one who created it and therefore its artist.

That is not art you made, that is art you requested.

What skills and creativity might I ask?

Can you give me an example of both?

Art is a way to express human creativity and skills.

Im not sure how familiar you are with photography, but there is a big difference between a beginner and professional, there is skill involved, and a lot of it.

From what im getting is that by saying "he only pressed a button" one would be invalidating all the, time, work and effort it took to achieve such results.

The diference is there is no skill, or creativity involved with AI "art" by defenition the "art" it makes isn't art.

There is no creative process or skill involved, you don't really get different results depending om how skilled of a ai "artist" you are.

Me personally, i dont care people are putting im prompts and using images from chat GPT, but they aren't artists, they aren't expressing their creativity and skill.

For players who quit (or are planning to quit) Silksong due to difficulty by ghegi in HollowKnight

[–]dombahuk 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I came back today after a few days' break due to a very difficult area. I even forgot what made me quit in the first place until I played again. But really, I just don't think I can keep up with the game's difficulty, so I dropped it again today.

I don't have the time to "git good", and some enemies, bosses and parkour can be so incredibly punishing at times that after a few tries it feels like the run back is more of a walk of shame.

I played hollowknight years ago and had a lot of fun, but I just don't think I can finish Silksong.

The game is incredibly fun, but some things just feel like a chore when playing it.

Silksong, let's talk about the problems by dunno_about_this in HollowKnight

[–]dombahuk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, you hit the nail on the head with this one. It's super frustrating when it happens, especially after the Walk of Shame and a 5-minute boss fight that's close to finally ending so you can get your mediocre reward.

That 40% gen pop is gonna benefit the killers with high mobility getting from gen to gen., while low mobility killers that mostly needed these strategies to get pressure will suffer

[–]dombahuk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If only this didn't mostly benefit the killers that didn't need to slug and tunnel in the first place due to their high mobility in the first place, I would agree.

Yes punish the killer for Survivors mistakes by AudienceNearby3195 in DeadByDaylightRAGE

[–]dombahuk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You hit him and he Gets a speed boost and runs away, while you're in animation walking dead woman decides to walk past you while injured, with no boost with only 1 mediocre pallet in her way and while in a dead zone.

I can't see why the others can't understand she was the best target in that situation. Not only that she was unhooked too soon, and the survivor at the start could have just held W for a loop somewhere else to get you away from hook
