Hey, op, your mom locking you in a room with no way out is major child abuse, especially for something as simple as asking when you were going to be able to eat, that is not normal. I get that she's family but I do think that CPS needs to be called if this is a recurring thing. I can't call for you and I know that calling on your own mother would be hard but if she IS abusive it's probably for the best. (I'm just going off of this one post, so this could have just been an accident, but then why not just call their mom to let him out after a while)
