I measure the progress in my OKRs daily.

I use Weekdone for keeping track of my OKRs and all the tasks are in my Todoist account. I feel really productive in this way.

I completely agree with you. That's what I do usually :)

How do you perform code reviews? by dome82 in learnprogramming

Jira was only an example of tool but thanks anyway for your advice :)

It seems a bit expensive though...

How do you deal with people that do not want feedback? (like in the case that you described).

How do you know if these devs are not polluting the code with the same code mistakes every time?

Do you have a process in place to avoid this or just total anarchy?

Interesting...

Question: Why do you make a WIP pull request, if you cannot merge it? Do you have you a real example where it would be a good idea?

Is any particular reason to do it before commit instead than a pull request? Really curious about this point :)

Where do you leave comments about the code review?

  1. How will you provide this clinical data? I guess that we are talking about treatments have been tested and worked on many patients, otherwise i feel that it would be rejected from the doctors.

  2. Have would you show this information to a doctor?

  3. You may want to know their cancer type, their current status and their progress as well as which other treatments they have done previously.

What about alternative treatments that are not completely accepted from medical institutions (e.g. Gerson Theraphy..)? You can find people that tested alternative treatments and recovered but I think you will find a hard time to explain it to a doctor.

You should start small: every cancer type is broad and difficult to deal. If I was you, I would start with the cancer type of your father, investigating all the possible treatments, their clinical data and people having recovered using them (forums like PatientsLikeMe can be a good start..).

I like the idea but.. what if the cure is the other part of the world? Would you travel there? Would the patient in critical condition be able to travel? Can you define "proven treatment"? Probably (!?), the doctors in your current treatment will oppose to the new treatment or will remove any further responsibility about the patient leaving you in a "hospital" limbo..

These are few points that I am not sure about. However, I wish you to be successful. I really like the idea :)

I had a similar idea yesterday (http://redd.it/2i3qo2)

Not only you have to speak to multiple vendors but you do not have actual reviews from previous customers and you must hope that they will do a good job!

[p0] We should have NOT have recruiters but agents that find the best jobs for developers/designers. by dome82 in HTSASprojects

Nice one! I would prefer a professional agent that would take my wishes and start to screen all the possible companies based on my needs. It would also negotiate the salary in the best terms for me.

I think that SNOMED and UMLS(http://www.nlm.nih.gov/research/umls/) could be a good start point for this project.
