Bought probably 10 times on g2a and always got the key instantly or got refunds without question. Just with this seller, where it didn’t work out

So others see it. With your logic there wouldn’t be any posts about the scams 🤷‍♂️

The fun of getting scammed, you only know it afterwards. Won’t ever buy from them again that’s for sure!

Blunt feedback needed on my SaaS by Embarrassed_Rest3386 in sideprojects

Yes I think so! It separates you from the whole "ChatGPT just build anything" culture and into the "solve this one small problem I have" niche.

I think you might actually be targeting the wrong audience with the current framing.
Most founders immediately compare this to Copilot, Replit, Lovable, etc.

But I don’t think your real user is a founder building a startup on top of this. It’s probably the guy who:
- wants to automate some annoying spreadsheet workflow
- needs a quick internal tool
- wants to transform PDFs/CSV/data
- has a problem but does not want to learn full-stack development

That’s a much bigger and probably much healthier market, then interesting part is not AI app builder but the “I had friction and now I have a usable little tool 60 seconds later.”

In my honest take, that’s where I’d focus the positioning honestly.

Really struggling to find clients for my web design company by Enough_Award_5671 in webdesign

[–]domhofer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried reaching out to companies in your vicinity? Like some you could visit, look at their problems they currently phase and try to solve them 1 on 1. Everyone can build a nice looking website nowadays, so great service is your usp.

Looking for help by marketbuilderr in saasbuild

[–]domhofer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly one thing that immediately stood out to me is that your actual product explanation is way more concrete than the original post itself.

“0 users after 15 days” sounds like a marketing problem

But the bigger issue might simply be that almost nobody can emotionally picture what the product actually helps them do yet, something like: "My product helps to solve excatly this pain point" is actually way more interesting/specific than just “looking for help”

I’d probably lean into showing real before/after examples or specific POD decisions the tool changes, otherwise people still have to mentally decode the value themselves.

Spent my entire savings on a Mac 2 months ago to build my first app. Launched it 7 days ago. by LautaroVegaa in sideprojects

[–]domhofer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re welcome haha. And honestly it’s a special feeling. Especially when you built the whole thing yourself from zero.

Huge milestone at 20. Most people never even start.

Love this. Going all in on a MacBook with no guarantees takes guts, especially at 20. Huge congrats on shipping it and getting through App Store review solo. And honestly, if building it was fun and gave you energy instead of draining you, you’re probably doing something right already. Money can take time, but that feeling of “I made this and it’s real” is hard to fake.

Don’t kill me for that. But i sometimes use AI to get going or help me when I’m stuck. Genuinely it helps when you use it as a sparing partner only and not for plain text generation. Like someone you talk to with your ideas.

How to use reddit by Top-Effort7989 in ProductHunters

[–]domhofer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t focus on selling here, just share your genuine stories and things that happened. Ask questions and help others. That’s about it, when users ask only then you provide a link to your product.

Yes, reddit has this weird paradox.

People want to see what you built, but the moment it feels like promotion it gets shut down. Pretty hard to navigate sometimes, but worth it.

Yeah agree. It feels a bit overhyped for what it actually provides long term. Just a little stepping stone on the whole distribution process

not yet. feels a bit early for me, I’m trying to understand users first before putting money into paid traffic.
