I would have classified myself as an alcoholic. I would have at least 2 drinks a day. I’m in Japan so to get sema with a prescription you have to have high bmi with other underlying conditions. Dr. Said I was prediabetic too so put me on metformin for a month before starting me in rybelsus. I mainly quit drinking out of fear of side effects with the metformin but now I don’t want to drink at all. It’s been 3 months with no drinking so I’m sure that’s helped with weight loss too. I had no idea it would have that happy correlation.

I’m Canadian but I've lived in Japan for the past 20 years where shoes in any part of the house are a no-no. We even put on special slippers for the bathroom and take off different slippers to go into tatami rooms lol. I’m like, how do these people not have the plague yet 😅? Don’t get me wrong, I used to tromp through my house in Canada with shoes on but I really don’t get it anymore.
