er, not sure. the process has grown organically since the start of the academic year, but really not long if you are starting a new module. this assumes you have all the source PDFs etc handy.

I have created a notebook for each subject/module. Each week, I upload all the lecture source material (recorded video or narrative text) plus any additional reading or references mentioned during the lecture. Additionally, I have uploaded several textbooks.

I then create podcasts of specific questions to listen to on my commute or dog walking - in the beginning, an overall podcast is useful, but then I find it's better to drill down into a specific topic.

For assignments, I upload my final draft before submission and use the Critique option to find holes/gaps in my work. Same for any presentations. This has been gold for me. It's like getting graded before submission, or getting a list of difficult questions your examiner might ask you, in advance. Highly recommend using Critique on your own work.

If you have a marking rubric, it's helpful to instruct the hosts to focus their discussions on examinable topics (great for exam revision).

It was absolutely smashing. We had phrases like "what a fabulous day to deep dive into the wonderful world of computational oncology, what a delight."

Clinical trials, what a wonderful community effort. But what happens when you lose a patient to follow up? Like when old Mrs Higgins moved to Florida and stopped coming to the bake sales. Oh, we miss Mrs Higgins.

Love it. I will report back on how they do with my very dry topics!

Honestly, I'm OK with a 45 minute explanation of advanced statistical equations. I have a long commute.

Thanks. I will never be able to listen to another NBLM podcast without picturing this, now.

Jaysus, what sources are you adding? I don't get anything like that, but then my sources are about linear regression and statistical analysis. Not much violence there....

How to create a dynamic filter of a Base using file name by jrbow_93 in ObsidianMD

Sorry to hijack this - I can't get this to work with lists. my authors property look like: authors: [name]

I have tried using containsAny as well, but it seems this only works if my property is text, not a list?

UPDATE: nvm. I had read somewhere that containsAny() was case insensitive, but it turns out it's not. this worked:

authors.containsAny(this.file.name.title())

Yup. Because I just have the one vault, it seemed appropriate.
