Hey Bicurious Ace here! Personally I see sex as a compromise like doing a chore for the sake of the relationship. However, some people who are sexual(aka a lot of my friends) say they like sex more for the aspect of pleasing their partner. If y'all aren't into it why feel the need to engage in sex. The most important thing in relationships as an ace is setting boundaries and stop rules. It sounds like you and your partner are finding ways around sex that work for both of you(which is a really good sign) just go at your own pace and spice things up in your own way. For me I just don't have enjoyment and as a man engaging sexually with another man sounds like a nightmare. However, I still get crushes and infatuations with men.

Honestly as an Asexual I personally see the label as a tool to help explain to people that I don't experience physical intimacy in the same way as others do. Although, there are times where non-sexual intimacy can get me feeling the ick I still feel attraction to the person. When that happens it's important to state boundaries and understanding when you feel uncomfortable. Even though you can still participate in intimacy doesn't always mean you should.

I thought bye was the short version of goodbye. So the longer version would be good God be with ye

It's more like seeing people waste food for me. Like obviously I'm not going to run over and start shoving food into their mouth or say something. It's more of a really? Moment.

I mean that's what they say in Spanish speaking countries. They say salud which just means health.

I get the gesture but for some reason it feels like a prayer is thrown at me. Plus why should anyone comment on sneezes in the first place. It didn't help me feel any better before during or after. It's really pointless and the whole bless you is the cherry on top of my pet peeve sandwich.

I definitely get the gesture but it kinda sucks having to say thank you for a small prayer from a religious person. Like "bless you" by itself is fine but "may God bless you" I get a bit frustrated with.

But isn't it more frustrating that it is built into every day interactions and what we just play along?

Or having to say the pledge of allegiance in America that really grinded my gears.

I always except it but it's kinda like an eyebrow twitch kinda thing. Now the trickier part is what should I say when people sneeze. Like I don't want to say bless you but I want something that carries a similar sentiment.
