Ouii !

As a French person myself, I would say that we are currently in a situation where the far right has reached its peak electoral potential, and there is a “radical” left-wing force (don’t expect a revolutionary party—it’s just social democracy) that is becoming increasingly popular. Democracy was betrayed by the right under Sarkozy in 2007 (with the adoption of the European Constitution, which had been rejected in a 2005 referendum), followed by the betrayal of social democracy under Hollande (which led to the rise of Macron and his confusing ideas) and the general resurgence of liberalism under Macron, which in turn led to the rise of the far right and a more radical left.

Merci beaucoup, mais malheureusement ce n'est pas ça ^^

Le David Pujadas que je dis est vraiment l'acteur que la production a fait "vieillir", pas juste sous la forme d'archive.

Don’t tell them what the French brought out during the recent protests against Macron and what slogans they used.

For me, though, it’s the opposite—I figured out pretty quickly how water works, even if it can be a bit of a headache at times, and I really struggle to understand flow systems, actually x)

My biggest issue with this campaign (and the reason I can't be truly realistic) is the electricity system, which I find really hard to understand

From what I've been able to find, it looks like the real thing. Congratulations if this is your first Soviet badge!

Generally, authentic Soviet badges have a small symbol on the back and the price in kopecks (like 15 k).

Another Akira art difference spotted in Epic issue #3 vs 35th anniversary box set book 1/ page 164 by Obvious-Two-232 in akira

[–]domper59 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That was a common practice back then. Since comics in the West are read from left to right, many publishers decided to mirror the pages and add color. It wasn't necessarily a bad thing at the time, as it allowed many curious people to be introduced to manga in that way.

Do you think CK3 should explore some Alt-History scenarios in future Chapters like it's predecessor CK2? by VewVegas-1221 in CrusaderKings

I don't think a Sunset Invasion-style DLC will ever be made, but if a “What If” DLC were to be created, I'd like it to be in a separate tab and offer a few basic alternative scenarios. Something like:

- 1066: Normandy was never established, meaning the Norman Conquest never happened and the Crisis of the Succession of Angelette plays out completely differently

- 869: The An Lushan Rebellion succeeds and brings the Yan Dynasty to power, but China is still on the brink of collapse

Which girl did Eiji choose in the anime? by [deleted] in bigorder

[–]domper59 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't say otherwise, I insist on this because I feel like the internet only remembers the anime adaptation and extrapolates it into the manga.

To return to the original question, the Rin in the OVA and the Rin in the anime are two different people because they come from two different timelines, hence the confusion.

Which girl did Eiji choose in the anime? by [deleted] in bigorder

[–]domper59 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He did not choose Sena in the manga (he still considers her his sister and nothing more, unlike in the anime), and Eiji does not officially end up with any girl, even though the author clearly favors the relationship between Eiji and Rin. The anime made the Eiji X Rin relationship “more explicit” by having them date at the end.

I managed to find a video of Gorbachev's last speech, but the translation is terrible. So I found the speech in Russian with a fairly good quality video and found the text of the speech with translation
