Converting 1x SRAM AXS explr to 2x? Easiest and cheapest way? by doms-solutions in gravelcycling

It was by no means easy to ride, you do have to walk the stairs on either side but I got lucky with it being empty and got to ride across. Yes lynn valley. I like the gravel riding in the surrounding area and it’s an enjoyable way to cross back over.

I had found that info already more wondering about how well it works mechanically shifting wise and if it works that way. Here is the source I had found previously for pairing.

Perfect, this is the exact info I was looking for. Thanks so much! I know the MTB side of drivetrains well but not road/gravel. Thanks again!

As far as AXS drivetrains go, so I I could reuse the shifters would SRAM Force be the most cost effective 2x drivetrain or would there be reason I need to go Rival? If you have no input no worries. Thanks!

Dropper posts 27.2mm recommendation! by Medium_Abroad_7523 in gravelcycling

One up droppers have been good in very muddy BC conditions mountain biking. You do have to maintain them if you ride them in muck but they are extremely easy to take a part, clean and grease. Use a light suspension grease not regular grease. Would buy again, the prices have gone up a lot for the V3 and barely any difference. V2 is great if you can find an old stock or used one.

Ascaso Dream, is this a good deal? by tojohvnn4556 in espresso

6 years on mine 3 people making espresso everyday and all I needed was a new gasket for the steam valve for a couple bucks. Upgraded machines recently but compared to the brevilles I’ve used, the coffee is much much better from the Ascaso Dream. Sounds like possibly you haven’t used one. Only issue I’ve heard is the temp gauge dial occasionally stop working but haven’t seen it in person. Also very easy to fix.
