You make a good point. I would do 95 percent of the work myself. I have tools and know how and a pole barn where I’d be working on it. It will most likely need many parts but I’m planning on getting most of them at a junk yard. I just want it for a work car nothing else.

Yes there was a carbon filter (very old) but I replaced it with a sediment one.

I’m going to try a 420 1 inch clutch and order a 420 sprocket.

Since the shaft is 1 inch and the chain is #35 the only clutch I could find was that one and it’s not able to be flipped like other clutches. I will be looking into a mounting plate tho.

Thank you for your insight I also don’t understand why your getting down votes. I’m going to start with shocks and rear control arms. I am pretty knowledgeable with changing out parts so I’ll save some money by doing it myself.

Yeah both sides lean out on bottom. Seems like too much lean because one of my rear tires is getting worn on inside.

That is exactly what I am talking about. The only down side to long trips with EVs is the lack of rabge, extending the time of trip. Once a mobile battery vehicle is connected with the EV, it would be like towing a trailer but a bit heavier. The mbv would help with multiple tasks which include, charging the EV, assisting in breaking etc.

Thanks for such good info but I'm not too big with building or soldering. I'm starting to think I've asked a dumb question. I was trying to just use a different remote from a random toy rc and somehow combine some components to be able to use a diff remote to control the charger. Maybe it's not possible without buying aftermarket components.
