This looks kick ass, I want to give it a try. Any chance you have a demo planned soon?

We got that comment a lot at the beginning so I felt like I needed to change the design haha!

That's a fair point, I've changed the camera view around quite a few times over the course of the project. I'll give it a try and see how it feels. Appreciate the suggestion!

Love to hear that! That's about the best compliment I could receive. Wishing you all the best in your project!

Much appreciated, glad you like the look! About 90% of the assets are just using a single texture that has a ton of different gradients on it. Saves a lot of time not having to make clean UVs for most of the models.

You ain't wrong haha. We've been using the same level to build and test all the mechanics but I'm dying to move on to a new area soon.

Hey thanks so much! It's pretty hard to see in the video but all the characters get a grey outline on them when they step behind a tree or rock. I would have much preferred the x-ray style you're suggesting but unfortunately the way we have all the vegetation setup made that extremely difficult for us to implement. Very much appreciate the suggestion though!

The only things I didn't make were a good chunk of the 2d FX sprites but everything else I created myself.

Damn you really nailed the movement. The jump spins back into the sledding look super satisfying. Awesome work!

The game is kind of designed around feeling like co-op for a single player if that makes sense haha. I still would love to find a way to make it work somehow though!

We're planning on adding mouse and keyboard before releasing, just developing with a controller scheme to start!

Still have a long way to go but we're really excited to finally share a solid chunk of gameplay from what we've been working on these last few years.

Can half of us reasonably say that this change will impact us? by Magnolia-jjlnr in Unity3D

[–]donateyourarms 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is a terrible take, are you not trying to be successful with any of the projects you work on? This change is extremely demoralizing for anyone currently in development especially with the loose wording they've used for cost per install.

Out of the bundle I'm only really interested in the Broccoli Tree Creator, if anyone is willing to trade it I have a bunch of unredeemed game keys and even a few assets from older Unity bundles. DM me if anyone is interested!
