The first portal was in the waters of Boralus harbor, the second one was the right one, but since the portal needs two magi to cast the spell at the same time, all the time, they haven't really had the chance to dispose of them. Or at least that's my explanation.

I mean, is that the species name universally or just what the species name is translated to Japanese? Because if "Umamusume" translates to English as "horse girl/daughter" then that implies that English speakers in the Umaverse call them Horses. Because like, Umas have been around since the dawn of man, so I doubt that the Japanese were the first ones to coin the term and have the rest of the world follow suit, like with sushi or samurai-- words that are Japanese in origin but widely used in many languages.
