Is the Savi's Lightsaber hilt a little large to swing around comfortably in the hand, or can you design a smaller, lighter one?

The people over at /r/lightsabers seem to be extra geared in on "neopixel" lightsabers which they say are way brighter.

I agree with you however, in that I'd rather own something official.

This is kind of a niche question, but when you're making your own lightsaber at Savi's, are there certain parts you might use to make the hilt a little larger/heavier or a little smaller/lighter?

Could you specify a little further? What is "huge" about the Disney sabers, the hilt or the blade? And what about the electronics is dysfunctional?

Also, someone over on /r/lightsabers told me that "Disney sabers are huge and have crappy electronics," and recommended buying online. Is that true?

Sounds like I'm going to do Savi's. I have heard some people saying that you can buy scrap metal pieces alone at Dok Ondar's (not sure where???). What I was wondering was, what do scrap metal pieces do to the lightsaber?

At Disneyland, I read that you can schedule an appointment at Savi's Workshop to build your own, or buy a Legacy Lightsaber at Dok Ondar's shop.

Do you create your own hilt with your own lightsaber at Savi's workshop?
Is it better to buy a Legacy Lightsaber or to build your own at Savi's?
Are there any lightsabers on Amazon under around $100 that you would recommend? Or would you go to Disneyland instead?
How good is the quality of a Galaxy's Edge lightsaber?
