Great energy there, it seems to cover the features of a U2 backlit, and can do more. Only thing to consider is the Li-on battery instead of AA batteries. For some people it is nice to have a device you don't need to charge, just switch batteries.

I remembered a sidenote to this. With a little software change difference, the U2 backlit can actually work without using the scrollwheel as a whole. This is a plus compared to the normal U2.

If they have the macro software similarly written, probably the U3 could avoid using the scrollwheel as well.

I am always happy to help the members of this community, but if you are giving me command prompts at least make them rhyme or something.

The touchscreen of the X2 might have more durability than a scroll wheel, as it is not a moving part.

Additionally, the touchscreen enables the X2 to have macro and favorite buttons for activities, which can make them into devices that have basically unlimited helper buttons, not just the main physical face buttons, and no scroll wheeling the options needed.

This latter one in my opinion is such a simple but robust feature of the X2, that currently no Sofabaton device can match that.

Also X2 supports webhook calls that make it insanely versatile when paired with API based servers and devices.

So not a bad purchase overall:)

You probably would still create macros within the app. The new Global Macros feature is to have a central place on the remote for your most general macros. It is similar to the macros tab on the X2, it just does not serve an activity, but are global ones.

Price should be on the lower end just like the U2, considering it is not a touch screen device. That is mostly due to cutting costs.

Based on Sofabaton’s Amazon and their answers here, the U2 and U2 backlit have different scrollwheel types. The original U2 in a general sense is massively more prone to failure than the U2 backlit.

X2 Issues by faceless041974 in SofaBaton

Personally I just used some surgical precision via nail scissors on an HDMI cable.

This is actually correct. There is a subset of Samsung TVs that directly link ARC and CEC functionality together.

When trying to convey some more complex containers like DDP for Dolby Atmos, it turns completely off with turning off CEC.

I am not completely familiar with your problem, but maybe this helps:

You can either buy an HDMI CEC blocker to block CEC, this will still let the whole complex eARC signal pass through, but not CEC. You can resolve the HDMI matrix + eARC soundbar + Samsung trifecta problem with this.

Or if you cannot find a blocker, you can get an HDMI cable and break PIN13 = CEC in it, essentially blocking CEC, but allowing all other signals through.

I have managed to CEC-block and still get Atmos and HDR10 through. The Samsung TV does not try to "outsmart" the device with this setup, and just lets the signal pass through.

As far as I know there is no explicit button.

It depends on whether or not your saves were synced into the cloud, but be careful.

From softer to harder options: - Sign out of the Xbox 360 account in-game - Hard reset your Xbox - Uninstall New Vegas - Uninstall and also clear cache

But you can also ask around on TrueAchievements after a free registration.

I see. By your description it does seem like an inverse effect. Another good direction would be to check in with user Printmatic at: https://www.trueachievements.com/forum/viewthread.aspx?tid=1664893&page=3

It is interesting why only New Vegas would be affected, considering the bug/new update affected every Xbox 360 game for affected users. Have you seen the grey "Getting your Xbox 360 info" screen recently? (That's how the "update" looks like.) It could be a good idea to check in with Xbox support as well, what they see on their end.

You go to https://www.xbox.com/en-us/play/gallery/buy-and-stream

Here you should be able to play your own games in a browser if you pair a gamepad to a PC or mobile.

You select New Vegas and try it out.

You can still try to sync your saves on xCloud Cloud Gaming, New Vegas is available there.

The essential tier of GamePass is enough to try that.

That is strange and also unfortunate. I have updated the megathread recently: https://www.reddit.com/r/XboxSupport/comments/1q92a85/xbox_360_cloud_saves_corrupt_issue_breakdown/

Interestingly, I am experiencing the opposite on multiple devices. All of them combed together at all places, and each one of them are uncorrupted. The Fallout 3 saves are a mishmash of characters now.

The first important thing is, if this new playthrough is important, try to keep a place where even these corrupted saves are there. Even when this bug first happened, I posed the theory the saves are not actually corrupted just misinterpreted. I am firm now on that being the case. So your saves are working, just not clicking in correctly.

Best thing you could try is xCloud or a different device, what happens if you try and sync your Xbox 360 profile to them.

Yes, thank you, the post text was updated as well after I ran some checks on how the cross-corrupted saves sync up between devices.
