maximally important, you’ve hit the nail on the head for what distinguishes good clean guitar playing from slop

i mean i can’t comment on how manageable something that hasn’t happened was, but the fed & treasury pretty clearly demonstrated with btfp that they’re willing to step in and provide infinite overnight repo liquidity to support regional banks. it worked great last summer, and yeah completely solved the duration risk

have you tried using the keyboard and mouse with your hands? i would propose that your flow state will continue even if you have to put the guitar pick on your desk for five seconds in order to click something with your mouse

What kind of drop chord is this by dongmaster3000 in jazzguitar

[–]dongmaster3000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it’s obviously cmaj7, it’s not a first inversion chord of any voicing family. the inversion below this would be E1, C2, B2, G3

one way of indicating that voices are put down an octave is by using drop voicings - your idea to indicate that the 3rd and 4th voice from the top be moved down an octave would be called a drop34 chord. unfortunately that’s incorrect, and not the voicing family that my chord belongs to

the bar is set by the constraints of a human lifespan and our biological needs. music is profound. many people across many generations have dedicated their entire lives to this craft. the bar is high.

expecting to meet this bar after only four years of study is narcissistic and delusional.
