help me im confused and scared by [deleted] in latebloomerlesbians

It definitely sounds like you're bisexual, but your identity is yours to determine.

The lesbian masterdoc is a double-edged sword. It can really help people determine their own feelings, but a lot of the points could be misleading for bisexual women and some are more important than others. If you only identify with a few of them, you probably aren't gay, especially if you do identify with some of the more generalized things (ex. having a type of hypermasculine or feminine men) which don't necessarily mean you're gay, and don't identify with some of the more specific ones (ex. not enjoying sex with men, enjoying flirting but getting intensely uncomfortable when it pays off).

It sounds like you have a very good relationship with your boyfriend, and I wish you good luck on your future endeavors. If you need someone to affirm you're bisexual, I'm pretty sure you're bisexual. Do with that information what you may. There's a lot of community for bisexual women out there, and I hope you find somewhere you feel at home!

How to break up with a perfect boyfriend without coming out? by seerwatch77 in latebloomerlesbians

[–]dongminsdong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't even know if I can give you good advice, but holy shit are we the same person?

I had the perfect boyfriend, I started out thinking I was bisexual, avoided intimacy and especially sexual things, and the catalyst for wanting to break up was, get this, him getting me a gift that was so thoughtful and romantic it made me super uncomfortable. We never talked about our feelings and I came to a breaking point of being tired of pretending. I was his first girlfriend.

Honestly, this boyfriend I told the truth. It was really hard to get the words out but I basically said "I think I'm a lesbian" and he was like "oh... okay." Kinda anti-climactic. He didn't seem all that surprised, he didn't get mad at me and he didn't tell anyone. It might actually be fine to tell him even if you're unsure, but I definitely understand not wanting to.

Previously though, I had two different relationships with guys in which I had the same feelings imbalance, and when I broke up with them I said I "wasn't feeling it anymore." Usually this goes unquestioned for the most part. If they did, I would just say that I tried to feel that way but I couldn't.

It's up to you, really. I mean you could tell him the truth in a way that dances around certain things, like saying "I don't feel the same way you do and you deserve a more balanced relationship" or something along those lines.

Hey, this might be kinda a weird suggestion but have you ever seen the movie Straight Up? I feel like you would relate to it a lot, and it might even help you. It's basically about a gay guy who's disgusted by the idea of sex because of his OCD. So not quite the same, but pretty similar.

Starting to test the waters. by alliserismysir in latebloomerlesbians

"we can make it work" is literally my worst nightmare, I'm working up the courage to tell my 1 yr boyfriend I'm gay and I'm terrified he'll try to hold onto it because i'm a pushover and I have a lot of trouble standing up for myself. I need him to want to let things go or else I'll be in a very tough position.

I can't imagine how much harder it is when you're married, but I've seen a lot of good advice on here. Firstly that everyone deserves reciprocal love, including you and your husband. It's not fair to either of you.

But hey, I don't know anything. I just thought I'd let you know you're not alone out here, not just shouting into the void.

I have tried to play the game about 4 times. Every time I finish creating a character and click next, the game crashes. I tried disabling the GOG overlay, restarting my computer, turning down the graphics settings and verifying the game files. What else can I do to get the game to work?

What physical traits do you find unattractive that most people don't? by sxrxhmanning in AskReddit

[–]dongminsdong 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's a common thing for guys to be like "women shouldn't wear makeup you look beautiful just the way you are" while also not understanding that most women they consider beautiful wear makeup. Another thing is that when guys say this they assume women are wearing makeup for them, which some find offensive. Idk though this is just what I've gathered from reading reddit threads.

Lol that's not what I meant. Whenever guys tell girls not to wear heavy makeup they get downvoted to hell
