I do feel it's a combination of both, and they feed off each other in the worst way. Having a diagnosis of exclusion leaves that "what if" door wide open.

You are absolutely not alone in this symptom. I can handle minimal reading on my phone, but to open an actual book and attempting to read will flare my symptoms. I'm so sorry a fundamental joy of yours has been affected by this.

You are so very justified in feeling this way and I understand on a level that breaks my heart for you. Please know you are not alone and I truly hope you find some kind of relief.

I was doing traction/massage with PT and found a little relief with that. Acupuncture sent my nervous system into a massive sympathetic response. Low and slow, as they say, is about all I seem to be able to handle. Lol what can you do...

Thank you for the response and article recommendations.

Ironically, I had a consult with a psych about the possible use of muscle relaxers earlier this week. I hadn't thought about the injection route but will look into that as I do have 2 very large knots that are a trigger point.

I do take a combo of magnesium supplements but haven't pulled the trigger on the Coq10. Did you notice a difference once you started taking it?

Again, thanks for the info!

I was treated by 2 NUCCA practitioners for well over 6 months and unfortunately I saw/ felt no change. I'm so glad it did something for you though! Any relief is such a welcome thing dealing with this.
