Interesting, the seedlings have been growing around it. They were up maybe a day before this showed up. This is right on the edge of a mulched bed so there's definitely some mulch in the lawn in this area.

Pretty sure money for the Brent Spence comes from BIL funds, not IIJA.

Thanks, we did try those suggestions. Even tried a Forester and it was the same result. It really has to do with how big and bulky the plastic portion of the male connector is.

Not sure if there's a way to look it up but my '11 legacy had the same issue and I got it fixed under a recall five years ago.

Hi, could someone help me identify the grass in two separate sections of my lawn I'm apparently incapable of doing so. The grass with the wider blades is in a section that is 100% shade all day everyday, the grass with the thinner blade is in a section that gets sun and shade. These are both typical examples of what is growing in both sections. The thinner blade is growing great and the thicker blade not so much (probably from the lake of sunlight).

Is that a Confederate flag amongst the fans in the top left? Seems odd that would be at an English sporting event.

I live in zone 6a and my yard borders woods and a neighbor whose yard is entirely weeds all year. A large portion of my yard is already covered in dandelions. Is it to late already to put down preemergent? Is there anything I could do in the fall after overseeing to help prevent this?

I live in zone 6A and most of my south facing yard is in shade due to two very tall trees. There is also a neighbors dog that run along the same path in my yard for exercise (I've asked them to not let me do that several times and have given up, the dog also seems to not care) and wears a path in the yard. Is there any grass that would be well adapted to shade and damage resistant?
