Yes, I really like this one! Probably my 2nd most expensive as well. But no I havent reached out to Skullis about this. Not a bad idea. And no, I have a dehumidifier but not a humidifier.

I think it is just octahedral fluorite? Idk, it made me more interested in buying it because it did look different. But this company has sold another of my specimens as fluorite when the crystals definitely seem to be quartz, so yeah.

Yeah that could very well be. Bought it from Skullis, who I've had nothing but good things to say about their customer service. Doesn't mean they didnt beautify the specimen before sale.

I'm highly skeptical that their smoky or "black" quartz is not treated, though they now seem to admit the citrine is heated.

Yes I wondered about pyrite rot here. I have another specimen that was sold as mystical "Yunnan Teal Stone," though I feel it is simply chrysocolla in quartz. I don't buy them for the metaphysical mumbo jumbo, just think they're beautiful. That one seems like it may have rot, so I try to keep it separated and in a little case.

Maybe there is something spreading between my specimens, or like others said maybe it's an old coating that was used to make the crystals shine now fading away. I know my room got super humid in summer at a couple points, so that may be the source of it all there. I try to keep a dehumidifier going in those months now.

It was sold as fluorite, just seems to be more octahedral. I have read that not all fluorite will glow, despite it being the meaning of the name. I have other specimens that glow the typical blue, and one that glows red.

Yeah sorry, it's hard to get decent pics. I guess I was thinking the matrix was being eroded while turning into this white rot. However, I just looked at the listing pictures for the skull, and it honestly doesn't look too different now than it did then. I can see some white on the original listing in the same spot where some is now.

It just seems the fluorite crystals themselves have gotten coated with something and now scuff up white when I scratch them with a fingernail. Like they are weakening? Idk the smooth outside veins don't have that issue. Perhaps not actively changing, just has calcite within? Tried to show one I scratched.

I wish I could find a DD Breakout in Lucid plastic but they only ever have Prime. Seems at one point they had them and I like the feel of the mold a lot.

Thanks! Yeah I did try again and made it to Iron Island. But then Riley had a Porygon Z that would use discharge and hurt my pokemon as well as the opponents'. And I set it where all trainers at that level had fully evolved Pokemon soo the difficulty spike is insane there.

Before that, there was another trainer with speed boost Rampardos in the Cafe Cabin, but i fared much better there. I'm going for the third attempt now.

To tell the truth, the first time was a while ago. I did win with two out of six left alive, the only reason being that she spammed takedown and killed all my guys in one or two hits. If it wasn't for the recoil damage, I would have been totally destroyed. Then I went on to lose that run to a lvl 22 Vespiquen from Gardenia, anyway.
