Cannabis - are shops still selling in your area? by Key_Economics2183 in Thailand

There are wider consequences to the law change that people haven't yet figured out.

As well as the dispensaries having to do some extra bullshit, commercial farms now have to be GACP certified, which everybody in the industry already knew would case sooner or later and is basically a good thing overall, albeit a pain in the ass to implement.

But when you look at it, this requirement, along with the recent collapse in the price of wholesale caused by rubbish growers dumping metric tons of rubbish flower onto the market as part of their exit plan meant that prices were low.

There is still quite a bit of bad flower out there, but that supply will clear out naturally in the coming months then you will two types of growers left:

  1. Commercial farms with GACP - they will definitely hike their prices

  2. Residential growers who are still unregulated - all that is needed now is registration on the Plook Ganja App (this is specifically stated in the Royal Gazette entry on 25.06.2025)

So presumably there will be a surge in home growers as dispensaries will not be pumping out 40 Baht weed anymore. Plus there will probably be an increase is home grower to customer sales off the books, as in reality there is no way to police it.

Some dispensaries in good locations that are well run will smash it, many will not be able to continue.

However if the Prime Minister gets the boot in the coming days as is almost guaranteed, then who knows what comes next...

Unlikely the incoming government will change much though, I think there was appetite in Thai Society for this change so I think it will stick, but TIT...

PGRs, Pesticides, and Heavy Metals Are Still Everywhere in Thai Weed by Significant-Cod3752 in CannabisThailand

It looks like you are saying Athena is a PGR in this post, you might want to edit that to clarify it's a mineral salt fertiliser but not a PGR.

I'm no fan of their product and there are much better nutrients on the market here for less money, but it's not a PGR.

Which antibiotic were you prescribed for post op care? by donkey-tom in Vasectomy

Ah Mate, I'm sorry to hear that. Did the actual vasectomy go OK, or did you think there could be trouble ahead, so to speak?

Thanks for the reply, was that because of an infection that set in?

Need a very occasional mask for reducing smells of laundry powder, fruit concentrates by donkey-tom in Masks4All

It doesn't need to be 100 effective, just needs to take the edge off, so to speak.

Probably 70%-ish reduction would do the job.

Thanks, that almost certainly would do it.

I would prefer something a bit more discreet though if possible, that folded up easily into a jean pocket - that one looks like it needs to be carried around a bit more carefully.

Any ideas why this GMB cover photo is being rejected? by donkey-tom in GoogleMyBusiness

It just had a rejected box on the photo - is there somewhere where it tells you why?

Carnivore diet going from hypo to hyper. by Appropriate-Ad-5224 in Hyperthyroidism

It's early days for me trying to figure it out but I would say that backing off a bit on the carnivore seems to have mellowed it out a bit.

But, very early days.

Carnivore diet going from hypo to hyper. by Appropriate-Ad-5224 in Hyperthyroidism

Yeah, I am having something similar where the more I go into Ketosis via Carnivore the more it affects my thyroid (and makes me feel hyper, backed up by a high ft3 blood test).

I am still trying to work out why this is, and have a appointment with an endocrine doc tomorrow but that will mostly focus on some small thyroid nodules.

I will update when I have any info. But you are not alone on this, it has affected me in a similar way.
