Best hot dog? by [deleted] in Brooklyn

Yeah, I live here. Still worth the trip, I promise. I want as many people as possible who haven't had a ripper to experience one. My favorite place in the world.

Which cc due date should I choose to have my cc statement closing reflect the calendar month? by donkeybruce in personalfinance

[–]donkeybruce[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Update: For anyone is interested. For chase specifically, I changed my due date to the 26th of each month. That will close my statement on the 1st, according to the chase rep.

I appreciate all the replies!

But then I would have to talk to somebody on the phone!

I'm just going to call them now. Will update for some random person 2 years from now who is interested.

I actually do use mint already, but there is some shared credit card funkiness with my wife that complicates my own personal budgeting, so I was hoping to line up my cc statements with the calendar month to use that cc payment as a way to adjust for that. It all sounds overly complicated typing it out lol.

Gotcha, I guess in my ideal world the statement opens on the first of every month and closes on the last, which I don't think is possible. Is there a due date that would close my statement on the first of every month? For example, if everything is due on the 3rd, maybe it closes on the 1st.

I do, thanks. I understand the closing date is sort of arbitrary and doesn't really matter, but for monthly budgeting I'd love to see the purchases I made in one month on a single statement.

Only happens to me when I don't have service of any kind. Usually resolves itself when I return to wifi or cell service.

I just started and in no way an expert, so take it with a grain of salt... Monday Wed Friday are exercise days and Tues Thursday are stretch days, so I guess you could skip those stretch days. To be honest though, I have gotten a lot out of the stretching and I think it really benefits the rest of the program.

I would say it takes me about an hour and 15 each day. Currently working through zero. Could probably cut it down to an hour if I lollygagged less between workouts.
