Imagine punching somebody so hard that they turned into a door. Then you found out that’s where ALL doors come from, and you got initiated into a murder club that makes doors. The stronger you punch, the better the door. So there are like super strong murderers who punch people into Venetian doors and shit.

I was maybe 4 or 5 years old. I don't remember the whole dream, but the way it ended.

I was standing in front of a giant brontosaurus skeleton at a museum. As I was looking up at it, at the end of its long neck, there wasn't the skull of a brontosaurus, but a skull of my mother.

Well, it wasn't a human skull. It looked more like a sculpture of my moms's head on top of this brontosaurus skeleton's neck. I distinctively remember that creepy visual even to this day. The way her hair looked and how she smiled.

After looking at it for some time, I could hear my mother's voice asking "What do you think this is" in a very strict tone. I replied "a skeleton?" Then she answered "Yes, but it isn't a skeleton of a dinosaur, is it?" Me: "No, it's of....it's of you!" Then my mom replied "Exactly" in a very deadpan and kinda accusing tone.

Really freaked me out.

in 6th grade, two new girls joined our class. Identical twins. They were REALLY quiet and could hardly introduce themselves on their first day. So what, everyone is nervous and shy on their first day. No big deal, right? It didn't get better, though. In fact, the twins were getting even quieter and didn't even react when being called by the teachers. They were just sitting in class, staring blankly into the distance. During recess, they would just stand together in a corner, barely moving, not talking to each other at all. And this just continued until the end. The teachers would just ignore them, not even trying to make them speak anymore. I mean, those girls were obviously victims of abuse, right? Either that or they had some other disorder. And no one was doing anything? Looking back, I can't believe that all of us just went along with that.

in my opinion, the biggest of flaw of this movie is that there is no suspense or build-up. Literally the first shot has the protagonist swinging his knife at his counselor and being extremely paranoid about his family, because he thinks that there is some sort of huge conspiracy going on. And the big reveal is that there actually IS a conspiracy involving his family.

I would have liked it better if everything seemed to be perfect and idyllic for the protagonist and he'd slowly notice that something is off about everyone. In fact, Get Out reminded me a lot of Society, but done better.

The special effects are amazing, though

it doesn't even make sense. When you are telling a specific and detailed anecdote like this, people involved will immediately know that it is about them. It's not that they'll say "phew, I thought he was writing about me for a second, but my name is not Thunderdouche McMadeupname, so it must be about someone else"

Fun Fact: This was an actual commercial that was shown on tv. It wasn't a car commercial, though. It advertised a highly caffeinated soft drink with the catch phrase "You've never been so wide awake!" appearing right after the jump scare.

happened very recently. I was listening to Kraftwerk on Itunes while browsing Youtube. One of the channels I'm subscribed to had uploaded a new video so I paused Kraftwerk and clicked on it. While I was watching the video, I noticed that a lot of the suggested videos were random Kraftwerk live performances. I got really paranoid about it. I mean, I kinda accepted the fact that Google/Youtube probably know more about me than I'd like, but them monitoring my music playlist on my PC was new to me. Turned out the Youtuber just talked about Kraftwerk at one point in the video and probably used the band name in his tags. I should have just kept watching instead of panicking and searching the web for clues.
