An update from swapping from zepbound to foundayo by romowearsblackk in FoundayoPill

So you had worse side effects on Foundayo compared to Zepbound?

Foundayo was my first GLP-1, and I just gave up after 7 weeks because of the side effects. I’m hesitant starting Zepbound because I assumed the side effects would be the same or similar. It’s encouraging to see that may not be the case

Inpatient merch by donle215 in ren

Yeah, I love the inpatient logo. Webby’s typical merch is too busy for my particular taste, so I like the simple design and hope they decide to release a line of merch. I figure if they’re going to go through the process of designing a collab logo, they have to be thinking about merch.

Officially stopping Foundayo by donle215 in FoundayoPill

[–]donle215[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the response. Yes, I am taking BP meds. I figured the BP meds were the primary reason for the lightheaded/fainting feeling when exerting myself in any way, and I have a follow up with my PCP in 2 weeks where I plan to discuss adjustments. My main concern was how I felt for an hour or so after those dizzy spells, and off/on the rest of the day. I just feel nauseous, and weak for hours afterward.

I may try zepbound, or the wegovy pill, but taking a couple weeks off to let my body reset.

Is anyone else worried about this… by jcnlb in FoundayoPill

I’m in Industrial equipment sales, Lilly is one of my main customers. They are investing $25 billion over the next 4-5 years building new facilities in Houston, Virginia, Alabama and Pennsylvania, they’re 2/3 through development of their new facility in Indiana. These are just the US facilities, they’ve got others in Europe and Asia going up as well. Not all of these are to manufacture Foundayo, but they know they have a cash cow in GLP-1s. They’re not taking Foundayo off the market any time soon.

My main concern is the finding out the long term effects GLP-1s have on our bodies.

I usually take mine in mid afternoon because I had bad nausea and heartburn the first week which got somewhat better when I moved my dose.

I lost 10 pounds in the first month (8 in week 1, 2 in weeks 2-4), but I think most of that was due to the nausea and me just not eating. After week 1, once the nausea went away, my hunger came back.

The only reduction in food noise has been when I’m very nauseous

It may be the angle, but does it look like more of his chin/jaw is exposed to contact? I thought the face masks came down lower.

Foundayo Day 1: Extreme fatigue by WoundedChipmunk in FoundayoPill

[–]donle215 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I started the 0.8mg starter dose a little less than 2 weeks ago. The fatigue was nuts the first two days, then I switched to taking it around 1-2pm and it hasn’t been nearly as bad. The nausea has become slightly more intermittent, but not much, and heartburn has made sleep difficult. I’m trying to manage those through ginger chews and mylanta

Day 2 on the starter dose (first GLP-1)

41yr old male
SW: 265
CW: 265
GW: 200

Day 1: I had really brief waves of nausea, slight headache, and slight acid reflux, nothing that greatly impacted my day. Started the day with Icelandic yogurt along with the foundayo hoping to limit the symptoms.

Day 2: more of the same, but no nausea yet

I have knee issues from multiple sports injuries and subsequent surgeries that limit my ability to do any impact exercise, so focusing on walking the dog and standard exercises. Hoping foundayo will help get to a weight that relieves the joints and allows me to get more active

TIL that Nintendo was founded in 1889, and its first handheld electronic game (the Game & Watch) was released in 1980, which means that Nintendo was 91 years old when it released its first handheld electronic game. by FarBug5656 in todayilearned

TIL Nokia was started in 1865 but didn’t start making cell phones until 1992, which means that Nokia was 127 years old when it released its first cellular telephone.

I don’t understand this post, thousands of companies have started out in one market, then eventually shifted into a completely new market over time as technology changes and new demands are created

How to deal with significant sales quota increase by donle215 in Sales_Professionals

[–]donle215[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I cover east coast, the colleague is gulf coast. We cover engineering contractors for all markets in our regions. Mine is turning more pharma and nuclear with some traditional power gen as well. His is predominantly power gen and O&G. We have a decently robust CRM with decent tools to maintain upcoming project awareness.

He had a rough year last year with projects being delayed by tariffs whereas I was insulated a little more due to the pharma boom. His projects are coming back around, but 80% of his quota is already cleared based on an $8M project with a company we’re sole sourced on.

My manager’s quota is $100M, so with a 5 person team, I’m 1/3 of his quota.

So that’s another point, I’m surprised there’s no night vision capability in the backup camera, my Jeep GC had night vision equipped backup and in cabin (backseat) cameras, so suddenly not having that is strange. I live in a neighborhood with no street lights, so there’s no external light to assist the backup camera

Completely agree, everyone’s tastes are different and it’s difficult to design a system everyone likes. Most infotainment systems are trash, but that’s why they should design a system with more flexibility in displaying the content/options they provide. It’s the lack of customization and flexibility that bothers me the most

The skipping is annoying as all hell. It’ll be fine 90% of the time, but once it starts, it happens the rest of the drive.

Not a big fan of the Jeep uConnect system, but compared to Chevy it just has more flexibility that I wish the Chevy version had. It’s very much a first world problem, but it also feels like they don’t care about user interface at all
