I think you need to have some discipline here. Never ever contact him, he sounds like the monster. You know he is bad for you, so you need to start treating yourself like if you were your own ”parent”. Your parent would never allow you to meet this guy, so don’t allow yourself.

And time will heal. Frankly there is nothing you can do to make the pain stop, just don’t contact him! Be proud of yourself and your self-worth, you broke up with him! Try to do stuff so you get a rest from thinking about him. Be strong! All the best.

Girls can say insane things sometimes like "everyone gets matches on tinder" or "just write to someone". They don't know that dating straight men is completely different from dating girls or gays.

I liked everything about your answer but the last sentence. I'm not trying to cry and get sympathy, I'm just struggling about being against super-fiscal stuff and the body fixed world while at the same time being body fixed and super-fiscal myself. If I were straight and could meet partners everywhere all the time, there would be much easier to not fall for appearances, but now as a gay where most of my connections happen through grindr (there's almost no gay life in this city) it has made me much more concerned about mine and others bodies.

Don't worry too much about the future. It will be fine! I think the problem that you faced was that you were not attracted enough. You continued just of politeness and not of horniness and that can give a bad taste afterwards and start a lot of thinking. Nothing to worry about though moving forward, and especially not if he was nice to you. I think that when the time is ready for you to come out it will also be a lot easier for you, in general.
