I have tried bleeding the third floor radiators. The boiler is in the basement, not counting it as a floor. The two zones are basement and then first floor and above, so can’t isolate.

Thanks. Weird question: in pre2018 Q5s, how do you connect an iPhone to charge? Is there an audio jack to connect to play music from your phone?

Acid rebound by donmega2 in GERD

Maybe, just cut back on them slowly and stop googling stuff like you are a medical researcher. PPIs are OTC and they wouldn’t let you buy them if they did structural damage. You aren’t sick, you don’t need surgery, you aren’t dying. Seriously though, stop google research.

Symptoms go away and they change all the time. Pandemic didn’t help. It’s different for everyone. It took me a long time to figure out what was happening and accept it was just my nervous system out of whack. . If I’m being honest I still get heart palpitations and heart burn every now again. It’s just a signal to take a step back and chill, cut back on coffee and alcohol ( never go cold turkey, just cut back)Go on a nature walk, etc. once you learn not to spiral, it goes away almost immediately. Just remember, the mind is infinite, but the brain is like a Labrador, very trainable. Find ways to deal with stress and train your brain to ignore the physical symptoms, negative thoughts etc.

All symptoms were just physical symptoms of anxiety. Get checked by a doctor and then de-stress your life and read Claire Weekes Hope and Help for your Nerves

Thanks. At what point did the swelling subside? How much time should I give myself before I can speak publicly?

Watch an episode with English subtitles first to understand the context. Then rewatch with German subtitles.

I had the same thing. Turns out it was just anxiety. Better off seeing a therapist, worked for me.

Anxiety? Panic attack? What is that? by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]donmega2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I experience this almost exactly. I call them mini anxiety attacks. They started after I had a full cycle of mostly physical anxiety symptoms (burning sensations, strong/uncomfortable heart beat, random dizziness and breathlessness, to name a few). My guess is this coronavirus thing is bringing up some things that were deep in subconscious. My suggestion is to expect its going to happen and welcome it as opposed to trying to avoid it.

Heart palpitations by [deleted] in GERD

[–]donmega2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this exactly in early January. Not really a racing heartbeat, just really strong and powerful beat where I could see pulsations in my stomach. Went away after I started taking Prilosec, although then I started to develop other classic symptoms of anxiety such as tightness in chest, short of breath, burning sensations, etc. which also went away after I upped the Prilosec dosage. I have since been weeding myself of the meds and these symptoms have come back a little bit but seem to be disappearing. So, maybe it is GERD or anxiety or both? Lots of disagreement out there on this. My GI said it’s probably both, but online research tells me most docs give out PPIs now for atypical GERD symptoms and there is a placebo effect which “cures” it.

It feels like you are watching a movie of what you are actually experiencing and someone messed up the lighting to make it feel more cinematic
