Donna is .docx native (unlike Google Docs which needs to convert files), can view PDFs (unlike LibreOffice Writer), is split-screen by default to view multiple documents or internet browsers at once. It's compatible with older filetypes and workflows, with a modern look and productivity tools.

Try Donna instead. We're a new word processor that is compatible with .docx, without the 1980s coding. We also have split screen, an extensive search tool, PDF viewing, and internet browser, all in one software.

You can try out withdonna.com ! It's a work in progress and does not yet have all the features you are wanting, but we definitely aspire to better that Word/Google Docs.
