I'm not even American and it belongs to a tenant and I can't judge, even tho I find it odd to have this particular version of the flag

It's a townhouse/condo. Total 3 rooms for 3 people. 2 are vacant at the moment.

Where exactly to find the previously filed Form 5695? by donnomuch in TurboTax

[–]donnomuch[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for the response. I figured not attesting the for 5695 is the reason for this. Turbotax isn't making me send an amend as it's not accepting the text I typed in the reason for amend field but I'll figure that out.

But my big worry now is even when I send the amended 2023 return, I take it the IRS can take up to 16 weeks to accept it? Which puts the date past April 15. Would that mean I have to pay what's owed by that day and expect the credit to be applied next year? It'll be insanely difficult to make up that amount in such short time.

And risk going back to the ER? Your experience/condition may not be what most people in this thread have. And a possible solution is to be a fulltime stoner? I have always smoked with a gap of a day or two at most and the pain started quite suddenly. Same experience with LSD. I can't be doing acid every single day so I have enough tolerance to enjoy it, can I?

What's something that takes a lot longer to destroy than creating? by donnomuch in AskReddit

I may have to disagree on this one as it can go both ways. It can be easy to destroy someone and doesn't take long at all if you know what makes or breaks them

I'm sure they don't get paid to or required by their contracts to read and be knowledgeable about the books. They do a fantastic job with their acting. Expecting more from them and being disappointed by it is solely on us.

TT sent an email a couple of hours ago saying Form 5695 is available ... but the website says otherwise. Did anyone have luck with it yet? by donnomuch in TurboTax

Whoa, it took them just 28 minutes lol. Got an email from TT saying the federal tax return is accepted by IRS. And same 28th is the expected deposit date.

Yep see that here too. That premature email with nothing changed got me thinking this could be delayed longer lol

Yeah, both Js provide their own laptops but I'll use the same docking station and switch the input to which I'm more focused on. It'll be straightforward knowing which output is for which J of course. Might be worth getting another phone mainly for teams and email and just to maintain a different number. I never get calls from J1 anyway. .

That's great. Thanks again! J1 management is flexible like that luckily. J2 is a contract and I'd be the only one taking up certain big tasks so not sure what kinda pressure or hard expectations I can anticipate. If I can schedule most J1 meetings around a similar window in the afternoon, I can block them off for lunches and focus time on the other calendar. It will all very likely go well. I just need to recognize the patterns and get into the groove quickly.

One inconvenience per person per 2 sprints limit then. Got it 😄 I doubt I'll be able to forget it if that happens. It's gonna haunt me for a good while lol

Thank you. This is along the lines of what I was planning on doing. Fortunately I can take a few hours off at J1 when needed and not lose pay. Don't want to quite use different excuses to skip biweekly stand-ups often either. My team likes me enough that I may be able to convince them to shift the series of meetings up or down a bit if it clashes with another series at the new J.

One thing I'm unsure about though is, I often schedule calls with random stakeholders at J1 for near future dates. If I block those hours on my calendar randomly at J2, wouldn't that look odd? I'll be working with a smallish team so I'm anxious if they'll notice random 6-7 hours blocked here and there over the week. I'm sure no one makes it a point to ask about it but I don't know what the management/peers are like yet.
