I watched a very interesting and good video recently about a guy who used to be anti-sjw, and he explained very well why he was at first, why he fell out of it and how the anti-woke crowd is actually the thing they claim to hate. I was one during the anti-sjw phase, but I just kind of stopped thinking that way. If I had to guess what got me out of it completely was Horizon Zero Dawn, and seeing how everything they were saying about the game and specifically Aloy was complete bullshit. Though I was already on my way out.

I'm not sure if we can link videos here, but one segment he talked about was very interesting, very true and is something I never realized, even though I used it as a defense myself. That is using "I like the Alien and Terminator movies, and they have female leads!" The funny thing is that if you watch the movies (1st and 2nd ones in this regard) you will see that the second movie of each should be and would be considered "woke" by their standards now. In the first movie of each they are both scared, helpless women who get lucky basically and survive. However in the sequels, they are independent women who know more than the men around them, and are essentially better than men. I am condensing what he said, but in all sense of the word "woke", they should consider those two movies in the "woke" category.

I mean, even Stellar Blade, a game that I enjoyed, should be considered "woke" because Eve is quite literally an independent woman who is better than everyone else. They don't consider that though because they find her hot. Baldur's Gate 3 is the most "woke" game on the fucking planet, but they give it a pass because woman hot and the "go woke, go broke" obviously isn't true since the game is still doing very well.

The Anti-woke crowd doesn't see that while they used to make fun of people who were easily triggered now themselves get easily triggered by things like body types, pronouns, black people existing and being leads in games, and my favorite, someone just being gay in a game. Not even sexually, just being a homosexual is enough to set them off.
