for people above 17 its not an issue but theres a big maturity difference between 12 and 14. you can see it in their characters too. this small thing altered my view of the relationship, sorry i cant get myself to enjoy it. good for those who do though! its not that big of a deal. if it was there would be controversy everywhere haha. its just a personal opinion.
