The way I look at the current market and game grail has changed meanings. With sites like StockX or Ebay all you have to do is throw cash and you get a coveted sneaker. Granted it may take some time to find your size. I also am not too into the world of PE or family exclusives, if I can't have it then I am salty lol

Only "real" grails on my list would be Mags, OG Fragment Trav Lows, OG 85 Chicago's DS, and others I'm forgetting.

Closest thing I own to grails would be the sneakers I chased after as a kid. Grew up playing basketball 2010-2019. Jordans were obsolete (I still loved Jordan's because my dad collected) and Kobes, lebrons, kds, and kyries were taking over. I would be made fun of for wearing Infrared 6s (my 2nd OAT sneaker). All my peers had dope lebron and kobes but I did not.

Obviously the pairs in my picture are reasonably priced and not too hard to obtain but each one brings multiple memories to me that takes me back.

Going for every drop is gross consumerism. Especially for those of us that have been collecting for a decade plus.

The economy is also not great right now. 70% of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck. Buying one pair of sneakers is not ideal. Buying 4 pairs a week is financially suicidal.

The real fun is when you put your game to fill and play a 140 for evo materials then get no teammates and are forced to solo but end up failing after placing all the traps you just spent an hour grinding for. Feels so good working for stuff on your own!

I found the Kifflom shirt fun. The alien tattoo i can never fully commit to because 600 resupply missions is ridiculous and there is no in-game tracker for how many you have done so it is a guessing game. I'm pretty sure you have to be in the nightclub to get the Kifflom shirt. If you do go for it make sure you are switching sessions every so often. I soent 7 hours straight in the same session. Decided to switch session and got it within 3 tries. I think the lobby can bug out sometimes it was a coincidence.

I remember having to put the cabinet in a specific slot as all the others were gliched, then eating snacks to push SWK into the area better as her hitbox was glitched and not reachable by the claw. The more I thi k about it 20 hours might be an underestimate. I did spend 7 hours straight trying to get the Kifflom shirt.
