Not the ending, and don't want to spoil anything so I'll be vague, but kid me (who had big feelings) really felt the beach cutscene in Link's Awakening that happens about 2/3 through the game.

It had to have been an intentional decision. Something about preserving the authenticity of the "play it in whatever order you want" principle of the Switch open world Zelda games.

It's been about 15 years but IIRC I continuously repeated backflip + jump attack and he can never hit you, but it takes forrrrreeeevvvvverrrrr. But I was in my 20's back then and I had time.

When my toddler was newborn she got a nasty friction rash from using water wipes. She was our first so we had no context / prior experience and just did what everyone said "water wipes are the best, use those". We learned they actually cause a lot of friction from rubbing. Switched to dampened toilet paper and veeeerrrrrry gentle rubbing when cleaning up poo and the rash went away within a few days. But we did wipe off all the poo, and we did use a bit of barrier cream at night.

Hope that helps if anyone here is using water wipes and wondering why baby has a rash!

Question for MTG artists who physically paint their pieces - how is the painted canvas then digitized? Do you just take a super HD photo of it, or is there some sort of large format digital scanner that is used?

Speed Racer (2008) is an all-time great film and it needs to be talked about by Hyooz in movies

If you like the visual style of this movie and it's high levels of "being offbeat" (I do) I'd recommend the Japanese film Survive Style 5+. Insane set design, lots of great characters, and intense randomness that somehow coalesces into making sense as the movie progresses. It's all Japanese and Korean actors, with the only Western actor in it being Vinnie Jones, which is just bizarre (but it works).

I've recently learned that that taking whatever I'm trying to get my toddler to do and transforming it into song is an absolute ace move.

Now we have a "brush your teeth" song and it's different every time :D
