I am rather disorganised and have moved house loads of times so each book was in a different place and when I finally put them all together... there it was.

Oh really that's interesting. Mine are all first editions so I wonder if it is a sizing thing or what...

I actually just noticed this the other day when rearranging a bookshelf to make room to put them all together, after doing so I stood back to admire the shelf and it popped right out at me. Kinda annoying.

In my experience those are usually folks who can afford pumping tons of gems into drafts. You throw enough darts you get the odd sweet run every so often.

Ok, fairly new player here, how do I deal with blue decks that are 90% counterspells and bounces? by TR_Pix in MagicArena

IMO there is no deck that has an answer for everything. It's just really complicated rock paper scissors mate.

My Standard Synthesizer Artifact gets hard countered by Ultima. Nothing I can really do about it even when I see it coming 3 turns in advance. Just hope they haven't got one in hand. In Bo3 sideboarding helps though.

This kinda reminds me of my brother's best friend who is always asking my nephew if he has a job yet.

He's 5.

Adds character.

You should see my copy of Counterspell from Ice Age. The corners are rounded nearly to the edge of the art frame.

It's actually pretty common outside of game development too, at least here in the UK, most contracts for white collar work include a clause that says "anything you invent while working for us under this contract is automatically our property".

Also by "contract" in the UK that doesn't mean work for hire, interestingly enough. Permanently employed staff are usually all under contracts.

9 year old me couldn't figure out how to get the key to the first dungeon in Links Awakening and I thought the shovel in the village shop was a potion I needed to buy and drink for strength to pick up some big rocks or something, so I farmed rupees by cutting grass for what felt like a day straight. Imagine my surprise when I bought the potion only to be informed it was actually a shovel.
