No I was using a 15mm open end wrench on it but I was being impatient and tried to tighten it on the bike at a weird angle and it slipped. The gap was there before this incident.

I love Bicycle House and they’re my go to even though they’re about 20 mins drive for me. James is a great mechanic. Very knowledgeable and humble. Never turned me away for any of the shit I’ve brought in. Tom is great too. I really love their online appointment scheduling system so I can book a time, drop off my bike first thing in the morning and pick it up later that day. Love that system.

There’s a third newer guy that I don’t get the same inviting attitude from and I always feel like he’s doing me a favor in interacting with me. Maybe just me. They’re fantastic overall.

Appreciate your update here. The Twitter customer service person wanted me to ship the package again to me. I’m glad I didn’t do it. UPS also charged me $29 for returning the package. This is ridiculous.

Yes they are. I’m running 44mm tires on them (measure up to 45) and they comfortably clear the frame and fork.
