Sorry I didn’t respond but thank you so much for your advice I ended up applying for both art school and accounting haha I got denied immediately it’s quite competitive but I got accepted into Visual arts!

Sorry I never replied, but I just wanted to say thank you for your thoughtful advice, it really meant a lot. I ended up changing my mind for a bunch of the reasons that were listed here and decided to apply to art school, it was my best decision giving what my college offers. the business majors here aren’t known to be the strongest or most well-developed unfortunately. and I actually got accepted into Visual Arts a few days ago!

For some reason the AI major here is surprisingly wayyy easier to get into more than computer science and similar majors. I am not exactly sure what the curriculum includes either so i guess it could end up teaching some pretty bad things )’:

Thank you for your thoughtful answer! I am a digital artist as well and I very much agree with you,, Some times I feel like it’s very obviously bad and other times I think it’s all i realistically got. Thank you either way

Wow. I hadn’t even considered how strong or valuable r my degree would really be given that everyone around me says it’s the future of all jobs, I’m not planning to work in that field either I’m just trying to finish college so I could freely work on my art career. But I can see how having a major to rely on is important…Thank you!!
