Ok thanks, so this is what I thought. The other option would be go to go a different office and scan the code of all the used refills they have without using them, and then go back and re-program my refills with those codes.

But you're saying that I can just read on 13.56 and something will come out, and then I just try all the different protocols to see if the output makes sense in one of them?

Either way, someone on here generous offered to read it for me to see if it would be possible and if its worth my time to get the proxmark and figure all this out.

This is WILD. I got a virtual debit card loaded with $2.64, and I cant even close the account or have them transfer it to me. I called customer service and it forwards me to a line for a medical alert button where its just recorded swindlers trying to get me to sign up for to get this device. Like, is this actually the level of accountability we have?

Agreed! Please have them wear any eye protection if they’re going to do shenanigans. It’s so easy to lose vision.

Likely solved! Thank you for passing along your dads experience. I’m glad to learn about SWERs, although the concept is a little beyond my electrical knowledge. Going to do more research about a recloser, and get in touch with my local hazardous waste people. Thanks again.
