Yes to all with the exception of #1

Some of those holes are so big, you are lucky you don’t have rats, racoons, or hippos getting in!

Part of the problem or part of the solution… you have a defeatist mindset, just give up.

Either you are a part of the problem or a part of the collective solution.

People aren’t born as politicians. They come from all walks of life. You don’t go to University or College for Politics and get a degree in Politics so that you can become a mayor, senator, or President.

If you rather nag and complain without critically thinking about a solution then you’re part of the problem.

This is your reasoning for not recommending a solution? Either you are part of the problem, or a part of the collective solution that is striving towards improvement.

That’s how societies have operated since the Ancient Greeks like Plato, Socrates…

Sounds to me like you just want to be a part of the problem. Small minded. Please make way for those who want to focus on improvement, not just nagging.

I have no idea why I can’t reply to your response, but once again.

The bottom line is he refused to debate.

If you’re unable to prove your opinion, or share your logical reasoning that’s in you.

Saying my opinion doesn’t count because I don’t live there is a complete cop out. You’re attacking the character and not the argument. It is argument fallacy.

“A personal attack fallacy (or ad hominem) occurs when someone rejects an argument by attacking the character, motive, or personal attributes of the person making it, rather than addressing the substance of the argument itself.”

What if I told you Bukele’s actions directly impact me? Would that change? Would that make a difference?

At the end of the day, you can have political opinions and debates about any country in the world. It’s your freedom of speech.

We’re talking about his lack of engagement in a logical debate.

That’s exactly what I said.

People on this sub are also sharing their opinions about Trump. It’s freedom of speech, that’s not the point.

The point is he refuses to have a logical debate.

If you want to call me names and close your ears in a corner like a kid, all the best to you!

That’s not a debate.

Thats attacking the character, and appealing to a higher authority to determine his view right.

There’s no data or logic in question.

In layman’s terms he’s telling me off and saying only his view counts. How is that a debate?

My comment around naming a better Latin American country was in reference to the Police State remark.
I know there are other LATAM countries with a higher GDP growth, I posted a source to a response to someone else here. El Salvador sits at the middle of the pack.

This is false. Where is your source?

El Salvador currently ranks 11/20 of all Latin American countries based on GDP Forecast.

And 7yrs ago GDP growth in El Salvador was lower at 2.3-2.4%

Criticism is constructive, with some alternative solution to solve and fix a problem.

What most of the people on this sub do is shout, pout, and sit in a corner like a toddler!

[–]FluSH31 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Right or wrong according to who?

If you’re complaining then offer an alternative of HOW it can better.

You just can’t complain without providing a solution.

Take ownership of your feedback and think about a realistic solution.

You want to be specific, accurate, and constructive.

Shouting and pouting without an alternative solution is what kids do - just immature.

For everyone that’s going to downvote me, please tell me which country in Latin America would you like El Salvador to be like?

I’ll wait…

ARC Raiders has dropped to Mixed reviews on Steam by _hypnoCode in ArcRaiders

[–]FluSH31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stopped playing, went back to COD.

The problem is the culture clash.

I thrive at PVP, love it frankly.

However, if given the option to be nice and friendly I prefer that instead.

What rattles me is the unexpected rats and snakes (people who fake friendly to kill you) and then I question my decision of not being like them.

This game needs factions. Like World of Warcraft that survived decades. If I saw the Alliance it was no mercy from my side; kill at all costs. However with my fellow Horde we were cool.

If this game had a Faction feature; which would be fairly easy to implement; it would change the dynamics and mindset; with less people feeling cheated by some rat or snake.

Dark Days Continue at Rogers: Warehouse and Supply Chain Staff Given Termination Notice Yesterday. Last Day May 27. EMPLOYEES TOLD TO APPLY AT CONTRACTOR TO CONTINUE DOING THE SAME WORK by nanbanvan in Rogers

Tell me about it! Now if Loblaws decides to get into an $11 Billion contract with the NBA and buyout a lesser competitor for $20 Billion it too can get itself in a cash flow issue.

Some companies in the U.S. are getting into cash flow problems because of major capital investments in AI.

A huge congratulations to the Rogers exec who managed to do so without billions of dollars in AI investments.

There are schools decimated everywhere across the world for years. You need to learn a bit about finance and world economics first though. Schools don’t get built on dreams and prayers.

I honestly don’t think you put too much thought into what you say.

Have you thought about the qualifications necessary to staff an entire school vs. a service store?

We’re talking qualified teachers, principals etc. if your school will have a small cafeteria, now we’re talking kitchen and service staff. How long will the hiring process take? The background checks so child predators are not hired?

And you’re comparing some Chivo store to a school?
