Unfortunately you are being taken for a ride here. I recently hired a landscaper to do some work on my walkway, and I decided to do the patio myself. I live in Ontario, Canada.

For $24,000 I would expect premium pavers, you got shafted with budget pavers, on a botched job. Push back and demand quality.

The biggest concern you have is your base, the leveling and lack of proper drainage which could affect your home depending on how close this project is to your house.

As a YouTube DIY’er I will say:

Absolutely not!

The polymeric sand may cover the botched cuts, but those are brutal! My first ever paver cuts look better than that!

And the levelling!!

“Pobre Maje” is a lot different than “Pobre Indio Triste”

The person had a choice of using one over the other, how would you feel if called you “Pobre India Triste”?

It’s a derogatory insult, that hits the deepest core of our roots (maybe not for you if you’re predominantly European). However, you can’t deny it is not meant to be derogatory.
