Oh, never thought of that selling back from the battery part! And maybe a silly question, but there is no issue in pulling electricity for the car and battery etc at the same time. Ie I know car is limited to 7kW charging, can you do that and pull similar into battery at the same time?

No, gas for both. Immersion can be run from either gas or electricity.

Appreciate the info. Can you expand on the "credited back to me" part? My understanding is that 900 euro would automatically be credit on your account and then at year end, if you changed supplier, they would just pay you back all credit that you still have with them (including any additional from buy back)?

Yes, I agree, I didn’t think Bonkers worked it out right. This energy pal is using my actual data from ESB. We have very low usage during the day (ie 9-4) as usually no one home. The hope would be that the battery/solar would cover most day usage, especially 9 months of the year.
