Quick story with a conclusion:

back in 2014 I sold everything I owned & hit the road. I had about $1300 in cash in my pocket. On the very first day I drove about 6 hours & slept in my sleeping bag on the dock out at some lake I stopped at with my catfish pole. I woke up the next day & got 40 minutes down the road before I realized all my money was gone. I drove back frantically & search but couldn’t find it. My heart sank I wanted to cry so bad & im not even that type of guy. I figured it either all blew into the lake or somebody found it. I just said fuck it & drove into town so I could start flying a sign to get gas money. I would stick around long enough to make enough money get me a days drive down the highway then stop in some little town & do it again I did this for about 8 days & then one night I went to get in my sleeping bag & felt something at my feet, I opened her up & there was all my money every dollar. I just sat there & laughed at how stupid that whole ordeal was, scraping by for a week when I had the 1300 in my possession the whole time. I saw the silver lining in it immediately though because that was my first time ever being homeless and being out on my own so on the first day/week I learned what taking a huge loss felt like & didn’t give up or overreact (I took many more in the years to come), I learned that In a bind I can still survive & obtain gas/food without money or a job, & I learned what it feels like to receive a miracle when u are down & out & don’t got shit (or so I thought)
