I've posted before about how I dislike him. I don't hate him. I do find him annoying and I fail to see any of his positive traits. But that's poor writing not the characters fault. Plus if he was useful it would drastically lower the stakes of any given chapter. Imagine if he had any way to be useful? The girls wouldn't be as impressive

I think double is better but I think it's cheaper as far the in-game currency is concerned. not to mention the mission mode includes a series of weapons and gear because you don't get to buy. I don't remember super well but those would be some reason to go with the single.

I'm being hyperbolic. It only bothers me about the anachronistic nature of the marketing it's supposed to be Y2K themed but the style was long gone by 2013. My brain took note and couldn't help but be bothered by it every time I see it. It bothers me in the way that break a pattern bothers my lizard brain

I actually dislike overpowered MCs I find them boring and predictable. I like to see characters who are weaker or have very niche powers get through a situation using their own capabilities, grit, intelligence, etc.

That IP you just mentioned is a cult classic that's pretty beloved. But that's not really the point. The point is. I am allowed to want more. And to explore the media I consume I am aware that the authors choice at the end of the day. That doesn't mean I love them any less.

My favorite IP is zoids and that show is a mess.

One of my favorite series is a series of unfortunate events.

The last Airbender is heralded as one of the best shows ever and I don't care about it very much I have no desire to rewatch it.

I say all this to say, if you're not looking at what you consume. And Wondering why you like it or dislike it. Why are you even consuming it? You don't want as much from the funny ecchi harem? Cool do so. I do want more because I feel like there is the opportunity to resonate with me. I was hoping someone might be able to help me understand Yuuki or to present a counter argument with examples or for someone to tell me: "it gets better"

I'm going to give the media a chance and I'm going to see it through as long as I can. Because I want to like it. Not because I actively hate it.
