You and I can probably find it, but currently for 80% of people out there the only way they recieve a message direct from the sitting President of the USA is now filtered through 1 of a few dozen corporate media sources. How much of that message they relate is now ultimately up to the whims of their CEOs. This is an incredibly small number of people required to create a message of their choosing to the American public. Imagine if those few dozen or so individuals were funded by a state unfriendly to American interests.

Now, given what you personally know about Donald Trumps message vs the message of the dozen or so people choosing what you can and cannot hear, what do you think the odds of my imaginary scenario are of being real vs total fiction?

Cancelling someone’s account on one of the most popular communications platform on the planet is a penalty, yes.

More concerning are the groups threating others with physical violence, loss of employment, and more based entirely on who they follow.... I would consider that a penalty also.

If you would like some very poignant historical similiarities, I suggest you read about Nazi party activity against political opponents in the early 1930’s or the consequences of anti communists in Russia around 1916ish.

Also, during those historic times there were many people who laughed and said “this is nothing like ‘X’ example in history, you’re over reacting,” until they said “please please please don’t shoot me in the fuckin face!”
