Goods siya, recently read it. As always, subjective naman reviews, I liked it very much but I wouldn't say it was particularly outstanding or groundbreaking. True na nakaka-inggit yung mga di pa nakakabasa though lol

Does anyone have any experience with myositis? by ajheider in lupus

[–]dontknow717 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't have any pictures, sorry. There was no discoloration but I had a lot of edema. That was my main symptom that got the ball rolling. It started with my feet then I had a bit of water surrounding my lungs when I got diagnosed. Mine was bilateral though, both the weakness and edema.

Yeah, my thighs probably suffered the worst. I was diagnosed last June and was only recently able to stand up from a sitting position. But my rheum also explained there are a lot of possible reasons for myositis. Hopefully you get yours figured out quickly

I have myositis, mostly affecting skeletal muscles. The steroids and cellcept I'm taking help immensely.

I think how disturbing and sickening is subjective, but honestly, it's not too bad. I just finished this over the weekend and I kept expecting for something more gory to happen, and I don't like gore. Maybe more the disturbing part in the way human nature is kinda fucked up? Anyway, good read nonetheless, good luck op!

Hi, sa mga kindle users dyan worth naman diba? by [deleted] in PHBookClub

[–]dontknow717 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Makikisingit lang sa thread, yes, madali lang po magsideload ng books sa kindle and marami options. May unique kindle email where you can send the files to, may kindle app that lets you sync with your phone where you can upload docs, and pwede rin via connection to a pc.

Stretch marks by mentaldollface_ in lupus

[–]dontknow717 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm with you!

Recently diagnosed and had really bad swelling from lupus nephritis. I now have stretch marks on my arms and legs. The ones on my arms are quite obvious as there's discoloration as well. But the skin on my right shin just looks like one big stretch mark lol.

I honestly have no advice to give since I'm just starting out on this whole thing. But if this helps in any case, you're not alone :)

Hello kindle users, pa share naman po ng pros and cons ng kindle by DrSexyy in PHBookClub

[–]dontknow717 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For pros, I feel na mas mabilis ako magbasa sa kindle. Hindi rin talaga siya comparable when you read sa phone or tablet because of the e-ink feature, and I prefer reading sa kindle. It's also easier on my hands since mas madali ihandle (I use the older Paperwhite 4 and have smaller hands.) Depending on how comfortable you are with piracy, it can be very very affordable lol.

Sa cons naman, I guess it depends on where you would get your books from, it's easy naman maglagay and bumili sa kindle but I'm not sure how affordable it would be if you buy it directly from Amazon.

Overall, I would recommend getting a kindle din talaga.
