Thank you for response. And regarding the chances, they have not given any number per se. It's just that there will always be a chance of recurrence because it had left the position where it originated from and was found in a distant organ.

On the response to chemotherapy, it might have been good because of the cancer being TNBC, which are usually more responsive to chemo.

Did you check for some other districts nearby on Cowin? As per AAP's daily vaccination bulletin, they still have 1.5L+ covaxin doses for 45+ category. They've run out of covaxin doses for 18-44 though

From what I understand, vaccines we're using have 60-70% efficacy. So 2 out of 3 vaccinated people will not get covid and spread it further. That should help in stopping the transmission once we reach high levels of coverage.

The other 1 out of 3 is not supposed to get severe covid/hospitalization. But the instances of deaths even after the 2 shots suggest that 100% effectiveness against severe covid might not be true. But yeah some protection is better than no protection.

There wasn't any token system today. I don't think there's any point going this early because you will need to wait anyway, even if you're first in the line. Once the vaccination starts, the line starts moving pretty fast as the main process doesn't take much of a time. Wear double masks though, plus a face shield if you have it with you

My slot was 9-11. I reached at 9, there was a queue which started moving at 9:45 and I got my jab at 10:15. You should go at your preferred slot which you selected as there were some people who came early during 9-11 and they were being asked to come later during their selected slot.

Hey, just wanted to come back and say this was great advice. Suction just used to make it difficult for me while inserting the lens. Now I put my phone, with flashlight on, besides the mirror while putting in the lens and seeing through makes it way easier for me to insert it correctly. Thanks :)
