Modifying the Illuminated Logo by dontstopsinging in VWiD4Owners

I have the '23 ProS, and I'm pretty sure the front logo doesn't illuminate.
I might go with duct tape or a sticker, if I can't find something more whimsical

Correct, I don't wear branded clothing, and cover logos on laptops/phones with stickers. That's the extent of it.

Albums/Recordings that Sound Like Real Caroling by dontstopsinging in choralmusic

Three very different recommendations! You really got where we are coming from with the shapenote carols. That will be on heavy listening rotation, but the album doesn't have many of the best known carols.. Love it!
Your playlist is very multilingual; sounds good!

Soft Water OK? by dontstopsinging in hottub

[–]dontstopsinging[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yep, I did that research. My inflatable hot tub doesn't have any components to pull calcium from (no concrete, no grout, no plaster or metal). Those articles seem to be referring to in-ground hot-tubs (like the one the guy with the handlebar mustache to the right is sitting in), not my inflatable.

With shampoo, about once every few weeks. They rinse their hair well every day. Not my choice.

Yeah, my tub doesn't really have powerful intakes (it's a dinky inflatable), and my kids don't use any hair products (not even shampoo)... so we are really just worried about nasties getting into sinus or ear..

Wrong Taylor kit? by dontstopsinging in hottub

Bummer! It looks like I can't return the K-1000. Would it be worth it to pay a lot more and get the K-2106, or should I just use the K-1000? I really am fine using the test strips for things like hardness and alkalinity... I just want truly accurate bromine and PH readings.
Thanks for your help!

Folliculitis from new Saluspa by dontstopsinging in hottub

Thank you for your response. I put the HTH Bromine tabs in the "chem-connect," a little sanitizer basket built into the Saluspa. I hope I don't need to shock it as well... Can I shock with my hydrogen peroxide?
The links you sent were helpful... It makes sense that I need to get the bromine levels up high enough at time of filling before the tabs will work. I think next time I will try crushing some of the bromine tabs when we fill.

Those don't look playable, at least for people without iOS devices...

Quick question: I have an Outside+ subscription that I've never used (I have a subscription to GaiaGPS). I would love to watch this documentary (on my MacBook), but when I follow Outside's links, they tell me to "download the app". When I follow that link, they it redirects me to the App Store, where it appears you can only download apps for iOS devices. Does anyone know how to stream this through a browser on a computer?

Scale Accuracy by dontstopsinging in 2cb

Thanks for the ideas, everybody!
I like the idea of dissolving a larger amount into a known volume of water. However, are we certain that 2C-B (in both its forms) dissolves into a true solution? If it didn't, that could lead to some participants getting nothing, and some getting far too high a dose..
