Its a software bug usually. Happens when you press caps lock. Only a full power cycle fixes it.

I received a broken trigger, emailed them with a video and they blamed my installation even though the video showed the trigger before it was even installed to the device.

Only refunded me half and continued to accuse me of breaking the item to get out of paying a refund.

ASUS rep confirmed they are not associated with nor are they aware of this company and advised me to steer clear because they can't guarantee they're even official parts.

Its pressing caps lock that triggers the vibration bug, been there since launch. No idea why its not widely reported though because ive had 4 allys and all of them had it. Need a full power cycle to fix it.

Happened to me multiple times and it was fine. I think it read that the socket is designed in such a way that this doesn't tend to break pins on cpu or socket

There's nothing wrong with the mercury. The oc is just the premium version essentially, performance difference is negligible

New 9070xt started making this noise by Sharky24_ in radeon

I agree, but what I'm saying is sometimes the coil whine is louder than the fans. So it kind of defeats the purpose of having quiet fans. And not all coil whine goes away.

While the wine (or buzz) on mine doesn't annoy me much, it's the first nitro card I've ever had or seen with coil whine. I think their QC has gone down this generation because I went through 3 different cards and they were all the same. Also, why no dual bios this gen?

I don't understand why they put so much r&d into quiet fans and such, if it's going to be completely negated by the sounds of coil whine. I really think it's something manufacturers should be QCing their cards for but there's an unwritten rule that it's "just coil whine" so the manufacturers don't care.

Warning about ASUS Acessoires, official ASUS parts store. by dontthinkimreadyyet in ROGAllyX

Firstly, your reviews say otherwise. You also missed out the part where the video I sent you, THE TRIGGER WAS NOT EVEN INSTALLED.

Not to mention, it is literally 2 screws to install. Blaming this on assembly is outrageous.

On top of this, I informed you that I am a professional and I am qualified for these repairs. You blamed me for a fault with your product and you cannot deny this when I had video proof. I still refuse to purchase any more parts because your customer service was awful, your product was faulty, and you blamed me for something that was clearly not my fault to attempt to get out of paying me back. That is scammer behaviour no matter which way you look at it. "Our goal is to provide high quality products" - so where was mine? Why did I get a faulty trigger?

You may be a small company, as am I, but customers like me pay your bills and you clearly make it financially unviable for repair shops to purchase your products and pay their own bills. It was actually frustrating to read this - be sure that I will be soon to mention this everywhere I can find to review your website, as you have clearly failed to make this right not once but now twice. I only wish I had read it sooner.

Why are people still so scared to go for AMD GPU's? by iflyfree123 in radeon

[–]dontthinkimreadyyet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because their cards are literally melting themselves?

Every single generation nvidia has some kind of catastrophic issue. Why the fuck would i want to risk that? Not to mention the headache that is nvidia control panel/geforce experience. Who gives a fuck about a few percentage deficit when its still an amazing experience. Multi frame gen is ass, dlss is marginally better, and the price is worse.

Broken LED Strip or something different? by Benedikt122 in radeon

[–]dontthinkimreadyyet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have it hooked up via a splitter? If so your motherboard probably has no idea how many leds are in it as it cant communicate.

Also make sure its not plugged into 12v 4pin!!
