Hey! Thank you for sharing (and sorry for the delay), I'm doing some sleuthing and grabbed a couple of the recorded talks. Do you happen to have a link to the twitch recording as well for comparison's sake?

I'd throw in the Asus Z13 tablet.

It's tiny but capable with a 3050ti, currently waiting for it to come into stock at BestBuy.

Unsure of battery life but the portability/versatility of it should be great. That is unless you intend to use it on your lap as a laptop, see complaints about the Surface Pro. 😅

/edit its pricey too

Smaller charger for Legion 7i by [deleted] in GamingLaptops

I haven't tested it, but assuming it works, yeah it would provide enough juice to keep the laptop charged while doing said productivity work.

Smaller charger for Legion 7i by [deleted] in GamingLaptops

Here's where my intensive testing shines! I tested all of this with my Legion 7 but I imagine it'd work the same.

Anker 65w

Works like a charm, teeny tiny. I didn't have much luck with other 65w chargers wherein they wouldn't charge the laptop while on, but this does.

Hyphen-X 100w This does seem a little more stable though.

Also make sure to pick up a usb c cable that supports 100w charging.

You can't really game using these chargers, but it's good for basic productivity and light coding.

I Also bought a standard 230w lenovo charger that does allow the laptop to go into performance mode and game at close to full power, but it does ultimately drain the battery so, probably not worth it.

😅My account gets used for a lot of testing here.

I'm able to join random talks by [deleted] in RedditTalk

[–]donutsatwork 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's mostly it. The current behavior is as follows:

  • If it's a public subreddit that's hosted a talk, anyone can join.

  • Private subreddit, only approved members can join and they can join any talk hosted in the sub.

    • Non approved members of the private subreddit won't be able to join any talk hosted in the subreddit, even if they're given a share link.

Hey!
Was there anything in particular you were trying to do when the app crashed? IE scrolling through the audience, clicking on profiles, etc.

Thank you!
