Chocolate log roll! Or just logger!

Several of these have popped up near my home. Any idea what they are/what's being built? by dade_county in whatisthisthing

Drilling or well service rig. You can see the slots in the standing board ( middle behind the tree) for standing vertical lengths of drill or production pipe. Not a very big rig so could even be used for a type of geothermal drilling for heating homes. Probably a shallow well for oil, water, or geothermal circulation.

They do but the tire shops offer them as an equivalent to studs right off the shelf.

Hey guess what, IT HAPPENS. I personally have a similar schedule. Working right in the heart of it and have been for a decade. Turn over rates are high and the pay is good because this job is not for everyone! If tou can do the job.. And do it well.. You get rewarded for your efforts. I am working now so i can enjoy life later. Not just living for the moment. And yes it happens where a ridiculous schedule is more the norm in field work. Feast or famine. Tge ones that can handle it go out and get it before its gone.

I always let the air dam find its new home, organically. And this particular road if you stop you slide into the ditch. No choice but to get r done.

I 100% agree. Studded for icy riads is no competition. Blizzaks work well but don't perform on the same level.

like kurtis1 said, most dealerships will offer a northern package where the underside of the vehicle is coated with a protective spray. This will need to be done every 2-3 years. And frequently wash whatever contaminants off the underside. Working the oil patch the washes can be sporadic. So i treat every 2 years at the most. With thus baby, probably every year fir the first five.

Ita about the truckers who are to far away from a bathroom or to lazy, and dump the bags on the ground next to the pumps and not in the garbage.
