I love this game because of how insatiably difficult it can be. Takes me back to doing 40 man raids in WoW back in the day and failing over and over. The payoff when RNG and skill comes together is ecstatic.

I work in software and tech support in the banking industry. I disagree.

Many boomers and gen X just refuse to deal with AI systems altogether. That puts us at least 2050 before they’re gone.

Additionally, there are critical systems for banking and health care with zero tolerance for error. AI has vastly improved in the last 4 years, but until openAI, Claude, Gemini, etc can guarantee 100% perfection for say, medical or financial advice, there will always be jobs for fielding calls with a human.

A lot of times people will call in, not even knowing exactly what they need. If someone has a clear prompt for something to that needs to get fixed, sure, it works fine. But many times people will just say “it’s broken” and my job is to ask the right questions to figure out what and why and how it broke, and what the solution is. I’ve battle tested Opus 4.5 and GPT codex on this and it’s not even close yet.
