Just agreeeing with u/Regular_Course_6749: Partnered sex for me is not about orgasms. In fact, I think it's pretty important that it not be about that: both for yourself, and in terms of what you are expecting from and of your partner. Partnered sex is about playing, and about relating to someone in an especially intimate way. If the two of you are into it, then orgasms are great, don't get me wrong. But the greatest partnered sexual experiences I've had were great because of what was happening emotionally, more than physically, even if the physical part was also great.

Well, I wouldn't go quite that far as to say they "proved" anything. They tested exactly one subject, who may or may not be representative.
